When Flight Centre decided to re-brand their $1.5 billion corporate travel service as FCm they needed a specialist well versed in photographing real people. Flight Centre chose Robert Edwards for the photographer.

The focus of the images was to be the personnel, the people who deal with the clients. Working with real people is challenging and rewarding.

Personalities and politicians are use to performing in front of a camera. It requires an experienced director and good humour to bring out the natural warmth in people. While still allowing the daily business to operate smoothly.

FCm required someone with digital expertise to coax the highest quality possible from the files. Particularly as some of the images were to used as six-foot banners. Robert began shooting digital in 1994 on assignment with Qantas, and so has over ten years digital experience to draw on.

Working to a tight deadline and budget Robert Edwards delivered the job, and with value added from his digital expertise.
